Back to home About us

Wildfires aren't only put out in summer. They're prevented all year round.

We are a team of engineering, Earth observation and artificial intelligence building SilvIA Earth from Madrid. Our goal: that whoever manages a territory decides with better information and with room to act.

We turn the observation of the territory into proposed action plans to get ahead of fire.

Every day, satellites and sensors generate an enormous amount of information about our forests and our territory. That information makes it possible to observe how the environment changes, detect signs of risk and better understand what is happening on the ground.

At SilvIA Earth, we work to turn that data into useful information for those who make preventive decisions. We combine Earth observation with a predictive artificial-intelligence model to identify changes in the territory, analyse how they evolve and offer a clear view of where to pay attention in order to prevent wildfires.

Getting ahead does not depend on a single tool. Prediction, prevention and response must work together, and having precise, up-to-date information makes each of these phases more effective.

Our mission is to bring predictive analysis closer to those who manage and protect the territory, to anticipate and reduce wildfire risk: public administrations, companies, landowners and forestry professionals. So they can better understand what is happening on their land, detect changes in time and make decisions based on information they can trust.

The ecosystem that drives SilvIA Earth.

ESA BIC — European Space Agency

SilvIA Earth takes part in ESA BIC Madrid Region, the European Space Agency's incubation programme, run by the Fundación madri+d.

UC3M Science Park — C3N-IA incubator

SilvIA Earth is part of the artificial-intelligence innovation ecosystem of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

NVIDIA Inception Program

SilvIA Earth is a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, NVIDIA's global network for startups working with artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.

The people behind every signal.

At SilvIA Earth we believe that preventing a wildfire means looking at the problem from several angles. That's why our team brings together specialists in artificial intelligence, data, forestry engineering and business strategy. We share one goal: that the major fires of recent years are not repeated.

Clarity in the face of uncertainty.

Clarity

We present information so that any technician can interpret it without being a remote-sensing specialist, without losing the detail they need to decide.

Rigour

Everything we show is based on official data and on a model trained with real wildfires that occurred in Spain.

Transparency

Uncertainty exists and we show it. Every alert indicates its confidence level, so the technician knows how much weight to give it in their decision.

Our commitment
Risk analysis and recommendations tailored to your territory.
At SilvIA Earth we work to predict where wildfire risk increases, how confidently we estimate it and what measures to take. We provide proposed action plans so that the technicians who know the area can make better wildfire-prevention decisions.

Shall we talk about your territory?

If you manage, insure or own forest land, tell us: we'll show you SilvIA working on your own data. And if you want to build this with us, we'd like to meet you too.
