We are a team of engineering, Earth observation and artificial intelligence building SilvIA from Madrid. Our obsession: that whoever manages a territory decides with data and in time.
The data to prevent has been orbiting above us for years. What was missing was someone to bring it down to earth.
SilvIA is born from an uncomfortable fact: every summer, Spain and Europe put thousands of hectares, and too many lives, at stake, while the data capable of anticipating the risk already exists. The satellites of the Copernicus programme have been observing our forests on every pass for years. The problem was never a lack of information; it was that this information didn't reach, in useful form and in time, the hands that decide.
That's what we build: the missing layer between the satellite and the decision. A system that turns Earth observation into concrete answers: where to look, when to act, with what certainty. For whoever manages land, insures risk or cares for their own forest.
And a conviction that orders everything: prevention beats the fire. Anticipating risk with days of margin is the difference between planning and chasing, between investing to prevent and spending to extinguish. That's what every line of code goes to. We're not here to replace the people who know the land or the official alert systems: we're here to give them better information in useful time.
